Proteins of H. vulgare interacting with HvARM1 and HvPUB15 in the yeast two-hybrid system (Y2H). a Full-length HvARM1 was used as bait in a Y2H screening of a cDNA library derived from Bgh-attacked barley leaves. Growth of yeast on SD-Leu/-Trp confirms the presence of both bait and prey vectors for protein expression. Growth on SD-Leu/-Trp/-His/-Ade indicates protein-protein interaction. No growth of empty bait vector + candidate prey confirms the absence of autoactivation of any prey construct for six final candidates. b Two of the six candidate protein interactors of HvARM1 also interact with full-length HvPUB15
